Work Required
In troubled political times, when extremist parties and external forces are increasingly trying to break down the foundations of the European project and promote a return to instability and conflict, the Helsinki Congress was of paramount importance to the client to come together as a political family and take common positions on the new challenges facing our continent and to nominate a leading candidate for the upcoming European elections. For the hosting of this multi-day congress with over 2,000 delegates, guests and journalists from all over Europe, the spacious Messukeskus Congress Center was an ideal venue. Our main task was to create an orderly and comprehensible wayfinding system with an innovative design, to convey the core messages and messaging in a visually appealing way and to prominently display the client's branding.
Our Implementation
The entrance area was equipped with large, widely visible façade banners and hoist flags, branded glass fronts, and encased columns. Furthermore, we branded an extensive fence construction to cover an open construction site on the forecourt. Inside, we signposted a 40m long registration wall, supervised the installation of large-scale wayfinding signs throughout the Congress Center, created various stands, such as for accreditation of the international press or congress document distribution and decorated the plenary hall and corridors with long hanging banners. In addition to various printed products and the lining of the various conference areas with table linen, one of the visual highlights of our work this time included an imposing, free-standing 18x4m press wall, which was branded with a single, continuous print.
