Our main tasks for the European People’s Party’s (EPP) Malta Congress consisted of planning, coordinating and supervising. In contrast to previous cases where these multi-day events took place in large convention centres, the venue that had been chosen for the EPP Malta Congress was a spread-out, multi-story hotel with a large congress hall and conference rooms on different floors. Events of this magnitude are always logistical challenges, in particular when you don’t have exclusivity in all areas, but have to show consideration towards the hotel guests who booked their stays for other reasons. The set-up times and the planning of staggered shift patterns therefore had to be planned meticulously.
Our Implementation
After a first extensive site survey we developed a detailed and lavishly illustrated presentation of all the different congress areas. This was later followed by a complex schedule with all the branding messages and a final presentation to the hotel management, to obtain the necessary permits to install, attach and integrate our brandings. Hereby we achieved the best possible impact for our client’s target group. Furthermore, we supported our customers in an advisory capacity to find the right local suppliers for the implementation works, the production of nearly all printed items and the provision of rental furniture.
